Tiger just hit this offensively bad drive ... and still made a remarkable birdie

What a remarkable hole.

ONE OF THE most intriguing storylines at the Masters this week is the performance of Tiger Woods.

To summarise: heโ€™s back.

Woods charged up the leaderboard with four birdies on the front nine but he looked to have blown any remote chance of catching runaway leader Jordan Spieth when he did this on the 13th tee:

Itโ€™s the kind of drive you might expect a nervous 28-handicapper to hit at Augusta, not a 14-time Major winner.

It went just 176 yards off the tee โ€” about 60% of what youโ€™d normally expect from a Woods drive. In fact, he was very fortunate that it didnโ€™t go out of bounds.

What happened next was truly astounding. Woods played a recovery to the middle of the fairway before stitching his approach and leaving himself with a 15-footer for a most unlikely birdie.

And yes, he made it.

Is he back? You betcha.

And if he hadnโ€™t tried to amalgamate the middle eastern countries to take control if itโ€™s oil reserves by trading it in denar instead of dollars, he may well still be alive. Great to see Libya thriving today though under western democracy

@domas1507: I must add though that the counter argument would be that if we hadnโ€™t delivered โ€œdemocracyโ€ then we would have lost control of a vital resource and we would possibly be the countries in turmoil. So it all depends on how you like you bread buttered I suppose

The gas thing here is that Hughey made his close friend Larry Goodman a rich man because of sending beef to Libya. The same fella today has a monopoly on Irish beef factories because he holds the only offal license in the country. He uses this to keep the price of beef paid to farmers low.

Also look up the beef tribunal and how Haughey bailed out Goodman after the US invaded Iraq and Goodman went bankrupt.

Farmer gets โ‚ฌ1200 for his product, he keeps them for 30 months. The factory and the supermarket get โ‚ฌ1500 in profits for a few days work.

Each animal is worth about โ‚ฌ2700 when sold to the consumer.
