AS EVERYBODY BECOMES a hipster, beards are getting more and more coverage in the media. When Roy Keane and Gordon DโArcy shaved their magnificent facial hair, a large portion of sports fans went into mourning.
This story should cheer all the beard enthusiasts up though. Nottingham Forest defender Danny Fox is trying to raise money for a cystic fibrosis charity so he has dyed his beard.
Fair play to him for being willing to play a televised game with this.
โMy friend, Paul Williams, passed away from cystic fibrosis and this is the colour that represents their charity,โ Fox said to the Nottingham Forest website.
โI became an ambassador about 18 months ago and they wanted me to raise awareness by dying my beard. Iโve set up a JustGiving page and Iโm going to do a skydive and other events to hopefully raise about ยฃ25,000.โ
We have an idea of who might have given Fox a bit of inspiration too.
Abel Xavier is a hero just like Danny Fox!
Top man, Top player, as Iโm sure all Celtic fans will agree.
Cโmon the Forest!
Gave away a peno. . Good point for Leeds
