Dublin
The semi-final draw for this yearโs Dublin senior football championship will see Ballyboden St Endaโs face St Vincentโs while St Judes will take on Ballymun Kickhams.
Ballyboden St Endaโs booked their place in the semi-finals with a 2-13 to 1-11 win over St Brigidโs today in Parnell Park.
Ballyboden St Endaโs, managed by Down All-Ireland winner Conor Deegan, continued their fine form after getting the better of Kilmacud Crokes in the previous round.
The winners trailed by 1-6 to 0-7 at half-time with St Brigidโs goalkeeper Shane Supple having netted a penalty.
But Ballyboden St Endaโs bounced back in the second-half with goals from Darren OโReilly and Ryan Basquel helping them claim a five-point victory.
In the second match at the venue, St Vincentโs were narrow winners by 0-14 to 2-7 against St Sylvesterโs. St Vincentโs lead by 0-9 to 0-4 at the interval with Ciaran Dorney and Tomas Quinn both excelling in the scoring stakes.
Eamonn Fennell went off injured early in the first-half for St Vincentโs and in the second-half St Sylvesterโs bounced back. Michael McCarthy crashed a shot against the bar before Mark Brennan hit the net for them to leave them 0-10 to 1-5 adrift.
A goal from Cavan senior Eugene Keating for St Sylvesterโs cut the gap to 0-13 to 2-5 but St Vincentโs clung on for a one-point win.
Ballyboden and St Vincentโs join last nightโs quarter-final winners St Judes and Ballymun Kickhams in the last four.

Luimneach abu โ greatest city and county in Ireland
The limerick footballers are the unluckiest group of footballers to ever kick a ball.
They have actually kicked a ball?
Put your knickers on tutsโฆ
Yeah gearoid. Put your knickers on. Lol flippity reversed.
Thought that would have been us Mayos
How to spot Sports fan from dublin? Hes Sitting in the pub in a Manchester United jersey.
You have a horse parked up outside the stadium.
lol,brilliant.
Careful now or they will remove your comment that was good and received loads of green thumbs
Iโd watch that Munster try over and over again. Still the only Irish team to have beaten the All Blacks and would have done it again had the Irish players been released the last time!
Even as a Meath man I still find it hard to watch the highlights of the five minute final.
I have to say Iโm very proud of my Munster cousins. They are exemplary fans. Apart from the guys who insist on wearing the Munster jersey to Ireland games. The worst was when we were in Cardiff picking up the grand slam, this clown was sittin there lookin like a welsh supporter.
Anyway good on ya lads
Although ye broke Waterford hearts in 08, itโd still be great to see Lk back at the top table of hurling. some great young lads coming through.
Sorry 07. Big fingers!
There isnโt a nicer place to watch a game than the open stand on a sunny day.
Great to see a positive article about sporting Limerick. Lots of those points made me smile. Looking forward to having even better memories in future.
Too true. Limerick gets a raw deal in the Dublin media.
Limerick gets a raw deal with ALL media. And even worse with the Limerick media โ who do you think feeds it to them.
Delighted to see a positive article about Limerick.
Not surprised to see the same old tired cliches.
Some very mature comments there!
Hard to believe lads like ciaran carey , gary kirby , mark foley never won an all ireland. Good bunch of young lads there now though and I reckon there could be an all ireland in them in the next couple of years.
96 was worse than 94โฆliam dunne took Gary Kirby outโฆ.still should have put them awayโฆno excusesโฆโฆ.some party when we bring it homeโฆhopefully in my lifetime!
I feel your pain lad.
No. 14โฆ.so true! Met the Claw in Ballybunion (i.e Limerick-on-Sea) one summer, it made my life. โHon the Shannonsiders!
The Bull is the embodiment of a rugby legend!!
Limerick on Sea is actually killkee
And before Coonagh it was the back pitch in Thomond Park :-)
There are plenty of kiwiโs who deny they were even in Ireland in โ78 their still traumatised.
Ainโt it sad all the same that such an utterly fantastic sporting county has had its image blighted by the goings on of the minority of lowlifes down there.
John galvin made darragh look pedestrian at times. Some man to field a ball and fist a point ;-)
Was at the Killenny/Limerick all ireland final and the most terrifying toothless Limerick was standing in the hill! He tried to start a fight with everyone and by the end had a LOT of space to himself :D
Heโs the only Limerick fan I remember :D
Crazy dude!!!
He must have been if heโs the only Limerick fan u can remember out of the 50 odd thousand that were there that day!
Disgusted in โ07 ,it wasnโt Limerick that beat us, it was Cork shame our final in โ08 came a year too late
Limerick the only place where 2 fellas with bags over their heads can be national icons!
