Boost for Ulster as Henderson and Herring resume training ahead of Champions Cup opener

The full-back suffered the head injury against Edinburgh last weekend.

ULSTER HAVE RECEIVED a boost as Iain Henderson, Rob Herring, Jake Flannery and Michael Lowry have all resumed full training ahead of their  Champions Cup opener against Bath Rugby at The Rec Stadium on Saturday.

The province reported today that Herring [calf], Lowry [hip], Henderson [hip], and Jake Flannery [groin] have all now resumed team training following their recent injuries and they will be monitored during training in the coming days to determine their fitness for selection.

However, Will Addison is a doubt as he undergoes concussion protocols. The full-back suffered a concussion in their defeat to Edinburgh last weekend and will now follow the World Rugby return to play protocol.

Meanwhile, Ben Moxham, who came on the second half of that game, suffered an injury to his left knee and will undergo an MRI to assess the extent of the injury.

Think Neil Doakโ€™s time as attack coach is limited! Theyโ€™re toothless atm, not seeing or using one of THE most exciting back lines theyโ€™ve ever had. Seem that maul is their primary weapon. Step up or move on!!!

Must have missed the announcement that Neil Doak had taken over from Dan Soper as attack coach
