no, Delany wasn’t called up before when he should have been and Keane had nothing to do with the squad
It’s such a pity that all this pantomime stuff about Keane really over shadows the memory of what a player he was. Keane at his peak was just such an incredible sight on a football field and a generation are growing up thinking all he did was shout and foul. I know the usual comments are coming but if you strip away outside the field stuff, just view him as a player, he was immense.
So Keane was very hard on him and a short time later he’s a very good defender at a much higher level.
Nothing to do with Keane at all – only the press/media trying to stir again !!
Get Keane Out!!!! He will only damage this team further.. like other teams.. o niell can do one too… so much talent that never gets a chance.. it happens manager after manager!!
Nothing to do with Keane , Delaney called O’Neill and said he would only be available if he was really stuck as he wants to concentrate on his Palace career!
A no
Having Keane there now dont help things but Trap never gave Delaney a chance either which is a pity.
Delaney’s second goal here is brill.
