VIDEO: Conor McGregor spars with Irish youngster

AS IRISH MMA fighter Conor McGregor continues his recovery from a longstanding injury, he appears to have found an eager training compatriot.

Young Nathan Kelly sparred with the 23-year-old, and gave McGregor a good workout judging by the video below, shot in the Straight Blast Gym on the Naas Road.

Perhaps Ireland might have another future UFC star on their hands if Kelly continues to show such promise.

    With Mane out for a few months he could easily come in and do a job for the Pool. Injections to within an inch of his life to keep him dancing
