Twestion Time: TheJournal.ie throws in with Bernard Brogan on Twitter

A cheeky, rapid-fire lunchtime Q&A on Twitter with the Dublin football star.

HE’S THE FOOTBALLER of the year, he hangs around the West Wing and, this lunchtime we had a Twitter chat with Bernard Brogan.

The Dublin forward agreed to be our second victi… interviewee in our Twestion Time series.

The Footballer of the Year plays on the senior county side with brothers Alan and Paul while his father and uncles are also Hill 16 legends.

Last time out we spoke to RTÉ broadcaster Ryan Tudridy on everything from canteen food to A Clockwork Orange.

Who knew where this live discussion with Brogan would take us.

You might have followed the chat live from midday when TheJournal (@thejournal_ie) put the questions to Brogan (@BernardBrogan) but for those who didn’t here’s the highlights:

Individual players get between €300 and €900 per year depending on how far they progress. Your average player will probably get about €400 on this grant scheme. In fairness it takes some commitment to be an Intercounty player.
