FOR GOOD OR for bad, the Nathan’s hot dog eating contest has become a big part of America’s sporting tradition on the 4th of July.
And yesterday, Joey Chestnut tied his own record by consuming, eating, shoving 68 hot dogs (and buns) down his throat.
According to Darren Rovell of CNBC, Chestnut’s “feat” totaled 28,492 calories, 1,428 grams of fat, and would have cost $214.20.
It was Chestnut’s sixth straight title. Here’s the video…
