'Absolute joke', 'greed', 'RIP club football' - GAA players hit out at new football format

The Super 8 proposal was passed at Congress this morning.

ITโ€™S BEEN A day of significant change in Gaelic football, a new All-Ireland football championship format to be introduced from 2018 for a three-year period.

But thereโ€™s been a heated reaction from current and former inter-county players. Theyโ€™re not happy with the news from todayโ€™s GAA Congress at Croke Park.
