ST PATRICK’S ATHLETIC have sealed a deal for Ian Turner until the end of the season.
The midfielder has joined the Saints, currently ninth in the Premier Division table, on a short-term contract after it was announced this afternoon that he had left Limerick by mutual consent.
Cork native Turner, 28, has also had spells with Cork City and adds to Pats’ midfield options along with fellow recent arrivals Killian Brennan and Owen Garvan, while Dutch defender Jordi Balk was captured in recent weeks too.
Manager Liam Buckley has been keen to freshen up his squad during the transfer window as the Inchicore club battle to retain their top flight status this season.
Pat’s are away to bottom-placed Drogheda United this Friday night.

Well taken goal Robbie. Good to have him fit for Estonia!
FYI, Keane’s goal celebration has been incorporated into FIFA 12, pretty cool to be able to do it with any player after scoring.
