What could you possibly be talking about, Darron? It’s the sporting tweets of the week
Also, Rio Ferdinand on Conor McGregor and Brian O’Driscoll on the Heineken Cup’s future.

I wasn’t sorry to see the back of Trapp, but he handled his departure with dignity and class.
I sneak away quietly too if I was payed €8million over 5 years for doing a mediocre job. He must laugh at the FAI in Milan.
Gibson needs to get over it
Gibson another darling of the media who has so far when he played for Ireland failed to live up to the media hype. Shouldn’t be part of any future set up for his carry on over last year or so. Some players need to realise its a privilege to play/be involved for ur country and not a god given right cos u play with a mid table premiership club or championship club for that matter
Decent midfielders are hard to come by, I wouldn’t close the door on anyone. He has done well for Everton since moving there on fairness to him, seems to be improving.
Gibson is not great but he’s better than Paul Green and should of got a game in the euros a few others have a right to be agrieved after Euro 2012 . Hunt, I know he’s average but always gave his all and got no game time at all.
Truth Patrol I except ur comments but can u really point to a game that Gibson played for Ireland where you could say he deserves to be in the starting 11 and he would make a difference? He obviously thinks he should be guaranteed a starting spot despite the fact he has never delivered or imposed himself on a game for Ireland. His carry on over last year proves he is not a team player
Alan Dunne I agree with u about Stephen Hunt thought he deserved a run at euros as he is liable to cause havoc when he comes on! Plus he didn’t throw his toys out of the pram like a spoilt child cos he didnt get a run unlike darron gibson
Ah yes because if we played Darron Gibson, EVERYTHING would be so different.
If he is liable to do that to his country(after all the hassle we went through to even get him in our squads) do we really want to be turning to him when the chips are down and the pressure is on?
To be fair, Gibson wasn’t the only player to fall foul of Traps management. Gibson never imposed himself because Traps style of play ensured footballers like himself and McCarthy were bypassed, and he never got a run in the team.
