After Real Madrid continued their relentless pursuit of the La Liga title with a 1-0 win at Rayo Vallecano, thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo’s 37th goal of the season, Barcelona kept up their part of the bargain.

And their game against Athletico Madrid was won by this extraordinary Leo Messi free-kick in the 81st minute.

Dani Alves scored the opening goal of the game in the 36th minute, but Radamel Falcao grabbed a leveller four minutes after half-time. Real’s lead atop the standings remains at 10 points

    Mulligan was very good for Leitrim, Higgins kicked three long range points for Roscomman from midfield. From What I seem of Kyle Coney he will be a handful all year!
