EVER HEARD THE one about the boxer who finally decided he had enough of the relentless abuse he was receiving from one particular Twitter user?
After Curtis Woodhouse lost his English light-welterweight title on points to Shane Singleton recently, someone going by the username of Jimmyob88 decided to taunt him about the loss.
Annoyed by Jimmyob88′s behaviour, the boxer offered £1,000 to the first person who could provide him with the correct address of his abuser.
After someone on the site duly obliged, Woodhouse travelled to the home of his tormentor to confront him.
However, when Jimmyob88 backed down, Woodhouse calmly left the scene, deciding he had proved his point.
As the argument developed on Twitter, Woodhouse was roundly commended by the Twitter community for the manner in which he dealt with the situation, garnering praise from Joey Barton and Andrew Cole among others.
