TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR MANAGER Tim Sherwood insisted it was “business as usual” today despite fresh reports he would be replaced at White Hart Lane come the end of the season.
The former Spurs midfielder replaced the sacked Andre Villas-Boas in December but has found life tough going in recent matches after an encouraging start in charge of the north London club.
Tottenham head into their Premier League match at home to bottom-of-the-table Sunderland tonight seventh in the table.
They are seven points adrift of a Europa League place and eight shy of fourth-placed arch-rivals Arsenal, who occupy the coveted final Champions League spot on offer to English clubs.
“I can’t say much right now,” Sherwood, speaking ahead of the Sunderland match, told Sky Sports: “What I can say is tonight is business as usual.
“I’m setting this team up to win a football match for the benefit of the club and the 35,000 Spurs fans who will come and watch. I’ll speak at a later stage.”
Veteran Netherlands manager Louis van Gaal and Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino have both been linked with the White Hart Lane hot-seat as has Ajax coach Frank de Boer.
Jurgen is asking for the chop, Hes backing players he cant rely on, Just say nothing and sort it out.

More BS and a spaz comment from Klopp. If you keep playing idiot keeper week in week out, then you deserved to be sacked. They had the game in the bag if their “fab4″ were any good but the bottled it again. THIS IS TYPICAL LIVERPOOL BUT THE BLINKERED DON’T SEE IT. Not seeing Brillo Brillo tonight?????? One inept twit called me a ratard!!!!! Whats that? I’m the happy one. I wish you all Happy Holidays! Love this.

@Whatshisname: You say you support Arsenal but here you are only concerned about Liverpool. Why the obsession? Is it jealousy? Thoughts?
Dropping 2 points will live long.. the battle for 4th come May between these two clubs
@Ich bin brendan: man city Chelsea Spurs then Arsenal/pool?
@Graham: united also ? And that’s it I’m afraid . It’s so poor why bother ? They are strangling the game , money , refs , coaches , formations , overhype , no contact etc . Anyway …… happy Christmas , and new year ,
