Racing in Limerick cancelled as weather wreaks havoc with Christmas schedule

Today’s events at Leopardstown are set to go ahead as planned, however.

RACING AT LIMERICK Racecourse today has been cancelled due to waterlogging, it has been confirmed

A statement added: “There will be an 8am Inspection tomorrow Sunday 27th December with 8 races going to post at 12pm including the Grade 2 Shannon Airport Novice Steeplechase.

“The forecast for the remainder of the day is to remain mostly dry.”

Today’s events at Leopardstown are set to go ahead, however, with racing due to begin at 12.25pm.
