PETER CREEDON HAS stepped down as Tipperary senior football team manager following this afternoon’s 12-point defeat against Tyrone.
The Premier County supremo confirmed that he is calling time on a tenure that dates back to 2012.
Creedon replaced John Evans for the 2012 championship, after Evans stepped down following the conclusion of the Allianz League campaign, and guided Tipp to the last 12 of the All-Ireland series in that summer.
Tipp also enjoyed a good qualifier run last year, again reaching the last 12.
But defeat against the Red Hands at Semple Stadium this afternoon signals the end of the Cork native’s spell in charge.
I reckon Cork are fairly short at 5/6 to win the Drogehda\Portadown game!
Fair point John, thanks.
