THE MODFATHER, PAUL Weller has moved to quash newspaper speculation today that he’s to record a song with Tour de France champion Bradley Wiggins.
“Please note that there is no truth whatsoever in today’s reports that Paul is recording a song with Bradley Wiggins,” Weller’s official account tweeted this evening.
The Team Sky leader did appear on stage with his idol, Weller, at Hammersmith Apollo recently and the pair co-hosted a BBC 6 Music programme before Christmas. But you can all put your iTunes vouchers away, there won’t be a duet this side of the Giro d’Italia.

The Daily Mail had reported this morning that the pair would release a new version of The Jam’s Window Shopping.
