SHAMROCK ROVERS HAVE failed to meet their own high standards in recent seasons, but it’s clear that the Hoops are planning for 2017 to be a turning point in the right direction.
Rovers have strengthened both on and off the pitch, and after starting their season with a defeat to Premier Division champions Dundalk, Stephen Bradley’s side go into tomorrow night’s game against Derry City on a high following last weekend’s derby win against Bohemians.
In spite of the inclement weather conditions, a crowd of over 5,000 turned up at Tallaght Stadium on Friday to witness Rovers’ 2-1 triumph over their Dublin rivals.
Having now released an excellent promo video for the club, which provides an insight into the match-night experience in Tallaght, Shamrock Rovers are hoping that attendances remain healthy as they pursue success this season.
This will certainly do them no harm…
Shamrock Rovers play Derry City at 8.00pm tomorrow night at Tallaght Stadium.
Had the potential to be a great defender for us only bar injuries, delighted to see him back and hopefully gets a full season under his belt without any major setbacks.
