THE KERRY LADIES footballers have sealed a lucrative three-year kit deal with McKeever Sports.
The Kingdomโs stars are following the lead of Cork and Tipperary, sporting McKeever kit on the pitch and adidas leisurewear off it.
Kerryโs minors will sport the new jersey today, when they take on Cork at the home of Dr. Crokes in Killarney in the Munster championship at 1pm.
The kit is manufactured by Armagh-based McKeever sports and only available via parent company TheGAAStore.com.
The new deal, described as a โsignificantโ arrangement, is understood to be the biggest in the history of Kerry ladies football.
The Kerry link-up represents another big addition to TheGAAStore stable, who have Cork, Tipperary, Armagh and now the Kingdom on board.
McKeever sports worked exclusively with Cork last year but several other counties currently under contract with other kit manufacturers are supplied with adidas leisurewear by TheGAAStore.
Last year, Corkโs ladies footballers signed a three-year deal with McKeever sports, worth an estimated โฌ60,000.
The Rebelettes went on to collect an 11th TG4 All-Ireland senior title in 12 seasons, and theyโll appear in next Sundayโs Lidl National League Division 1 final against Donegal, aiming for a fifth successive crown.
Earlier this year, McKeever sports also became the exclusive leisurewear and training wear supplier to Dublin senior club football powerhouse St Vincentโs.
Diarmuid Connollyโs club now supply adidas leisurewear at all levels for players, with the gear also available to supporters.
