Poll: Who will win today's Munster hurling battle between Tipperary and Cork?

Throw-in at Semple Stadium is 4pm.

AND ITโ€™S BACK!

The Munster senior hurling championship returns today with the 2016 edition starting off in a fitting fashion in Semple Stadium.

Reigning provincial champions Tipperary are in action against a Cork team that bowed out to Waterford at the Munster semi-final stage last summer.

Itโ€™s the first senior championship battle between the counties since the 2014 All-Ireland semi-final which resulted in an emphatic win for Tipperary.

Cork are coming off the back of a league campaign where they just avoided relegation with a last-gasp success against Galway.

Tipperary exited the league at the quarter-final stage against the eventual champions Clare.

But what do you think will be the outcome today? Let us know.

Cork are on a slippery slope and if things go right for Tipp they could get a hammering today. This a serious Tipp team who will more than likely be in the All Ireland final later this year.
