Process to wake up Michael Schumacher 'may take a long time'

The Formula One legend has been in an induced coma for over a month.

DOCTORS TREATING SEVEN-TIME Formula One world champion Michael Schumacher will begin lowering his sedation level in order to start the process to wake him up, his agent said today.

Schumacher has been in an artificial coma in a hospital in the eastern French city of Grenoble for more than four weeks following an accident in late December when he slammed his head on a rock while skiing off-piste in the resort of Meribel.

“Michael’s sedation is being reduced in order to allow the start of the waking-up process, which may take (a) long time,” his agent, Sabine Kehm, said in a statement.

Noel Mooney has been pulling all kinds of PR stunts, straight out of the John Delaney self-preservation book, to try and glam up the old FAI, as certain long-term gravy-train riders try to cling onto control.

@Tony Mcgrath: You’re entitled to your opinion but I’d strongly disagree with you. Brian Kerr is a hugely knowledgeable football man and has his heart firmly in the right place when it comes to the game in this country. He doesn’t engage in PR or BS and he’s one man who I could listen to all day. He’s also highly entertaining. Wish we had more like him.
