MANCHESTER UNITED SAY Marcus Rashford โhas taken responsibility for his actionsโ after his omission from the squad for Sundayโs FA Cup win at Newport.
Rashford was left out due to illness after reportedly spending Thursday night in a Belfast nightclub, but United say the issue has now been resolved.
United said in a statement: โMarcus has taken responsibility for his actions. This has been dealt with as an internal disciplinary matter, which is now closed.โ
Rashford has returned to training and is understood to be in contention for Thursday nightโs Premier League trip to Wolves.
United boss Erik ten Hag had sought to deflect the attention on Rashfordโs absence on Sunday, simply stressing that it was โinternal matterโ.
Ten Hag had previously criticised Rashfordโs โunacceptableโ decision to attend a nightclub shortly after Unitedโs 3-0 derby defeat to Manchester City in November.

@Desheen: thatโs the great Tony Keady in that artwork. Multiple All Ireland winner and Hurler of the year in 1988 not that Iโd expect you to know that

Cmon Mayo.
Maigh Eo abรบ!
Could be a day where Cillianโs accuracy needed. Mayo squad as strong as Iโve seen. An awful shame Cillianโs injured. Be fantastic to see someone up.
Iโd say Comer is chomping at the bit to get out there after a frustrating spell.
@Desheen: there wonโt be much in it today , there never is . If we beat Mayo I wonโt lie Iโll be delighted
@Finnster: looking forward to this Finnster, be spicy Iโd say.
@Mike Kennedy: always spicy
