Todayโs Ligue 1 clash between Bastia and Lyon was abandoned at half-time, after the home fans twice invaded the pitch and attempted to attack Lyon players.
Footage capturing the first incident showed fans descending from the stand and jumping over the advertising boards before invading the pitch during Lyonโs warm-up.
Lyon keeper Mathieu Gorgelin was caught up in a group of Bastia fans, as stewards tried to intervene and players were forced to retreat to the dressing room.
The visiting team initially refused to leave the changing rooms again, but eventually did as stewards lined up on the edge of the pitch.
Kick-off was delayed by over 50 minutes as a result of the disturbance. But after more trouble followed at the break, the decision was taken to abandon the game.

โFollowing the new incident at the end of the first period, the LFP decided to definitively stop the game between Bastia and Lyon,โ the French professional football league (LFP) said in a statement.
Bastia, who were sitting bottom of the league going into the match, are likely to have points deducted for the latest trouble involving their supporters.
The Corsican side was previously punished in February over racist abuse directed at Nice striker Mario Balotelli.
This is the second time that the Lyon club has been caught up in crowd trouble this week.
Violent clashes took place ahead of their Europa League match against Besiktas on Thursday evening. The start of the quarter-final first leg was delayed by 45 minutes as officials tried to clear the playing area.
The fans poured onto the pitch in an attempt to protect themselves from firecrackers and others objects raining down from the stands above.

Total tool of A Meath Supporter escorted from the grounds by the Gardai. Least it was only a bottle thrown today. Its usually stones. Delighted with the win today. Since the stones and abuse incident we have dominated meetings between the sides
@phil: Ye I think every cavan man will remember the stoning incident. Total lack of class
@Jamie Smith: ironic youโre talking about a lack of class.
@Paul Mallon: whatever about throwing a few digs here Paul Iโd never resort to throwing stones at supporters cars stuck in traffic coming home from croke Park
Meath are getting worse. Something seriously wrong within this great county. Needs to be rebuilt from the bottom up
@DL_8_5: first half was deplorable. No intensity or hunger in them to try get back in the game.
@DL_8_5: look thatโs just what happened when yee are outclassed by a better team.
@Jamie Smith: Jamie f**k off get your mam to tuck you into bed
@Yorkie1892: They were a bit better in the second half but the damage was already done. Would not be at all surprised if Longford beat them in first round of championship.
@DL_8_5: dry your eyes mate. The scoreboard doesnโt lie
@DL_8_5: the only reason they looked better is because cavan knew they had the game won and sat back they knew meath were no threat
@Jamie Smith: Yawnโฆtrolls like yourself do not interest me. If you are a Cavan man congratulations on today but you will win as much as Meathโฆfu**ing nothing. Tell your mam I said hi x
@DL_8_5: things are bad when youโre resorting to โ your Mamโ jokes are you ten? Youโre dead right Cavan wonโt win anything but at least theyโve beaten sorry hammered their neighbours which is always a good bragging right to have going into work on a morning
@Jamie Smith: you were down at it I assume Jamie?! Hahaโฆ
