Listen to the brilliant local radio commentary marking Westmeath's historic victory

‘They’ve been tackled and beaten and punched and everything but Westmeath have not given an inch’

LOCAL RADIO IS the best.

And it’s at it’s very best when it’s covering GAA without any semblance of trying to remain neutral.

On Midland’s 103 today, Doron Harte, PJ Ward and Gerry Russell could hardly have believed they would be celebrating come the final whistle as Meath were well in control of their Leinster football semi-final clash.

However, following a dramatic second half, it was the Lake County who won through to a final with Dublin and the lads couldn’t contain themselves.

Brilliant.

Brilliant! The screams from the co comentator when Heslin smashes in the goal to seal the win is priceless. Hard to beat local radio for the most biased comentary in sport.

Well worth listening too. The joy of your local area. Pure partisan commentary but isn’t that what local radio is about :) love it

Thanks a lot, this really is a truly awsome article! Has anyone ever wondered how to fill out forms online? I have, and found a simple service. If you ever need to fill out a form, here is http://goo.gl/SCpBtc a really useful tool. Very easy to navigate and use.

Some call it DNA, we call it GAA
