AFTER HIS LOAN move to QPR was confirmed early yesterday, Kevin Doyle has not taken long to adapt to life at Loftus Road.
The Ireland player headed home from close range after Burnley failed to deal with a dangerous cross.

Doyle’s Irish teammate, Richard Dunne, also got his name on the scoresheet, volleying home to put his side 2-1 ahead.
However, the visitors fought back, and despite a goal from another QPR debutant — Modibo Maiga — Harry Redknapp’s side could ultimately only manage a 3-3 draw.
Meanwhile, here’s what Redknapp had to say about Doyle after signing him yesterday.

Excellent. Hopefully that’s the start of a renaissance in Doyles career.
He played well work rate was high as ever. Richard Dunne scored a great volley aswell (yes that’s right, a volley!)
I must have been watching a different game! He was non existent in second half but he hasn’t played 90 mins for a while so hopefully things will improve.
Shane Long scored on his home debut for Hull today as well. Good news all around for us today.
I might dislike that crowd from Shepherds Bush but hope Doyle keeps banging them in, a player I always liked.
My mate who works in the butchers just outside the spurs training ground is good mates with Harry redknapps housekeepers son’s ex- missus’s, new fella’s son’s ex- housekeeper, used to say he had a lot of time for Doyle!
Heard redknapp described as a ‘waxed womble’ recently. Chuckled.
But they didn’t win
Good luck ‘Doyler baby’ even as a Wolves fan hope he succeeds elsewhere!
A true professional!
I thought I would be able to see the goal :(
