AFTER A FEW injury-plagued years where his form dipped considerably, Kaka seems to be a bit rejuvenated by the in sunny Orlando.
Of course, the standard of the MLS probably helps too and while the league is undoubtedly on the rise, it still isn’t at the level of the top European competitions where Kaka has struggled in recent years.
His Orlando side grabbed a 2-2 draw away to Montreal last night and the Brazilian was instrumental in the visitors responding from a 2-0 deficit.
If you had Kaka in your MLS fantasy team last night then you picked up points for a goal, an assist and likely the three bonus points too.
He also busted out one lovely bit of skill that almost resulted in the kind of goal that the Brazilian used to score routinely during his first spell with AC Milan.
It is nice to see some version of classic Kaka at the moment but it is still a long way from the 2003-2007 period where he ran Carlo Ancelotti’s dominant Milan side.
