Sweden's raucous celebrations following U21 Euros victory makes them our new favourite team

Sweden beat Portugal in the final to spark incredible scenes upon their homecoming.

JOHN GUIDETTI HIT the headlines earlier this week for his bizarre interview following Swedenโ€™s victory over Denmark at the U21 European Championshipsโ€™. He was very animated and appeared quite angry despite scoring en route to Swedenโ€™s 4-1 victory over their Nordic rivals.

Heโ€™s in the news once again however, this time for leading a passionate chant during the teamโ€™s homecoming in Sweden. The crowd gathered is pretty amazing too, with even the youngest of fans joining in with the chanting.

The 23-year-old may be out of contract this summer with Manchester City and on the lookout for a new club, but whoever signs him can be guaranteed that they are signing a wholly committed and passionate player.

For those of you who may have missed his entertaining interview earlier this week, fear not, here it is.

Did you know you can personalise your feed to hide articles about sports you arenโ€™t really concerned with and stick to what you know? That might save you some upset.

You canโ€™t, however, filter out the trolls.

Christy itโ€™s people like you who hold the GAA back in the dark ages and not letting it progress to a modern game

Ah now Christy. Youโ€™re allowed your opinion and everyone else is allowed an opinion on your opinion and so on. Thatโ€™s the beauty of it.

If you donโ€™t want your opinion to be scrutinised then donโ€™t put it out there. Or better still, set up your own forum as suggested below.

That being said, Happy Paddys Day!
