JOE BROLLY POPPED in to see Michael Lyster in hospital yesterday morning, he revealed on The Sunday Gameโs coverage of the Galway-Mayo Connacht SFC clash yesterday.
At half-time, Lysterโs stand in host Darragh Maloney took the opportunity to wish Lyster well in his recovery from a recent heart attack.
โI know Michaelโs watching proceedings in hospital and doing really well with his recovery, so get well soon, Michael.โ

Brolly reckoned that Lyster would have โa big smile on his faceโ from watching Gary Siceโs brilliant first half goal for his beloved Galway.
He added: โI went in to see him this morning and I was delighted to see the nurses were genuflecting as they brought him his medicine!
โSeriously, the heart attack was nothing to do with me, I asked the medical staff!
