They've erected a Jim The Redeemer 'statue' up in Donegal

The good people of Laghey deserve a medal for this.

SORRY, RIO. YOUR Christ The Redeemer statue may be world famous, 38 metres tall and 28 metres wide, but the newest tourist attraction in the south Donegal town of Laghey is just as good (if not miles better).

Behold: Jim The Redeemer!

Just look at the incredible attention to detail to get the likeness of Jim McGuinness in his prime just right.

Amazing, isn’t it,

Now all Donegal need is for the sun to set early on September 21, behind the iconic statue (or is it more of a scarecrow?) during the All-Ireland final.

Thanks to Bernie Quinn for the glorious image.

I just hope Cork City had the brains to install a sell on clause when Hull signed him for peanuts as Sean will go right to the top on England

He seems to have got off to a very good start Cross-channel. The St Mirren fans were going mad that he had to return to Hull. Hopefully we’ll see him in the green jersey soon.
