JEFF HENRICK SCORED his first Premier League goal of the season on Sunday afternoon, to ultimately give Burnley a 1-0 win over Everton at Goodison Park.
The midfielder was ably assisted by his countryman Stephen Ward, in an excellent piece of build-up play that saw the Ireland duo link-up brilliantly inside the Everton penalty area.
Ward provided the cross, with Hendrick showing timely instinct to dodge the challenge of one defender, before sending Jordan Pickford the wrong way and curling the ball into an empty corner of the Everton goalkeeper’s net.
Ward himself already has a goal to his name this season, scoring a wonder strike against champions Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on the opening weekend of the season.
More recently Robbie Brady scored a dramatic 96th minute equalising free-kick for Burnley in their Carabao Cup meeting with Leeds United a fortnight ago.
The result sees the Toffees remain in 16th place and two points above the bottom three, as pressure continues to mount on Ronald Koeman.

Good to have Hendrick in good form going into Moldova he could play a pivotal role with Brady and Mc Clean suspended for it
Lovely goal.
Hope Koeman goes , I liked him at Southampton but he’s turned into a dick since joining Everton…
