IRISH BOXER JASON Quigley put in a hugely-impressive performance to win his professional debut last night โ€” defeating Howard Reece with a first round stoppage.

The 23-year-old Donegal middleweight took just 82 seconds to see off his American opponent on the undercard of Canelo Alvarezโ€™s bout with Erislandy Lara at the MGM Grand, which Alvarez won on a split decision.

Quigley turned pro earlier this year with Golden Boy promotions after winning a gold medal in the European Championships in 2013.
