Here's how we rated the Boys in Green against the Netherlands tonight

Ireland faced Danny Blind’s side in Dublin this evening.

Darren Randolph 6 - The West Ham stopper had little or nothing to do in the first half and looked assured when he was called upon, but was caught in no man’s land for the goal.

Seamus Coleman 7 - Solid defensively as he kept Memphis Depay quiet and got forward more often as the game went on.

John O’Shea 7 - Ireland’s most experienced defender made a timely clearance with his head in the first half and was a commanding presence throughout.

Shane Duffy 7 - Following on from his excellent display against Switzerland in March, Duffy was very vocal at the back and performed brilliantly for the most part. Lost his man for the equaliser, however.

Robbie Brady 7 - His defending has improved over the past year and his set-piece deliveries caused problems.

Glenn Whelan 6 - Decent performance from the Stoke City man in the centre of the park.

Stephen Quinn 7 - Worked his socks off and made some great interceptions to start attacks in the midfield.

Harry Arter 8 - Eager to impress and got on the ball as often as possible. Deserves to be on the plane despite his international inexperience.

David McGoldrick 6 - Did some good things when he dropped deep but gave the ball away a couple of times.

Jon Walters 7 - Began up front but happily slotted back into midfield when needed and put in a shift.

Shane Long 8 - Caused his clubmate Virgil van Dijk problems and reacted first to score his 16th international goal.

Substitutes

James McClean 6 - As he always does, the winger put himself about upon his introduction.

Jeff Hendrick 6 - Looked to get on the ball and showed some nice touches.

Darron Gibson 5 - Did okay but wasn’t hugely involved after coming on.

Wes Hoolahan – Not on long enough.

Eunan O’Kane – Not on long enough.

This doesn’t make sense, as you do need to quarantine if travelling from the USA to UK at present. With the condensed nature of Fedex Cup leading into the remaining majors, the US Open and Masters, you could count on one hand the amount of American based golfers that will travel.

@Mike Faherty: just ridiculous the idea. Hope they arrive 14 days earlier to quarantine. But doubt it will happen.

@Claudia O’Riordan: Us Open finishes 4 days before Irish, so they definitely wont be isolating for 14 days. As long as all players, caddies, coaches etc. keep getting tested as least once a week there shouldnt be a problem with anyone coming over

@Sean Dalton: can’t see any American playing in it, nor can I see any of the big european players playing 3 days after us open which is off the back of fed ex cup playoffs.

@Denis White: the old head is a fantastic venue but if the fog comes in, it would make for challenging viewing.
