LA GALAXY FANS finally got to meet their side’s newest acquisition yesterday afternoon when Robbie and Claudine Keane touched down in Los Angeles International Airport shortly after 1pm.
The Republic of Ireland striker, who will wear the number 14 jersey in LA, was greeted in the arrivals lounge by TV, photographers and a group of chanting, tricolour-bearing Galaxy fans.
Keane is expected to train with the team this morning before he is officially unveiled at a press conference at 8:30pm tonight (BST).
He could make his first Galaxy appearance as early as tomorrow night, when Bruce Arena’s side host the San Jose Sharks at the Home Depot Arena.

The Chances of Giggs being the next permanent manager of United are zero.
Giggs taking over and helping United to more success is a sentimental notion I’d love to buy into.
However, I’d find it hard to believe they’d give him the job before he can prove he’s capable of managing at a high standard.
Moyes was also a sentimental notion that had me bought but look how that ended.
