Here's what the Irish squad will be bringing to the Euros

There will be a few treats for the Boys in Green to enjoy during their stay in Poland.

IN THE PAST, certain footballers have expressed concern about the boredom that invariably occurs at major championships in between games.

However, any potential similar fears expressed by Irish players ahead of Euro 2012 will surely have been allayed following a tweet from the official FAI account earlier today.

It revealed a series of treats awaiting the players in the games room at their Poland base, including such classics as Connect 4, Scrabble and Darts, in addition to more modern favourites such as Fifa Street.

So if all doesn’t go according to plan and Ireland get knocked in the first round, at least certain players can go home with the consolation of having impressed at non-soccer related activities (or Fifa).
