THE HEAD OF the FA’s inclusion advisory board, Heather Rabbatts, is set to be investigated after her criticism of the organising body in the wake of the Eva Carneiro case.
The Football Association cleared Jose Mourinho of making discriminatory comments to the former Chelsea doctor as she returned to the dugout after tending to Eden Hazard in the final minutes of the side’s first Premier League game of the season against Swansea.
Following the decision, Rabbatts – who became the first female director of the FA back in 2011 – described the organisation’s handling of the case as ‘seriously disappointing’ and added that she had ‘major concerns’ over the way the entire process was conducted.
But, she’s now set to face a formal investigation after allegedly breaching the FA’s code of conduct.

Needing just complaints from two of the 121 council members for an inquiry to take place, 82-year-old life vice-president Ron Barston and 70-year-old Richard Tur officially registered their displeasure at Rabbatts’ behaviour.
For her part, Carneiro offered a statement on the August incident earlier this month, condemning the FA for not asking her to contribute to their investigation. She also ridiculed them for not pursuing ‘vile, unacceptable and sexually explicit abuse’ she had been subjected to during a game against West Ham, despite complaints from the public.
She left her position at Chelsea in September.
