ONE OF MMA’S all-time greats, Georges St-Pierre, is ready to make his comeback.
GSP announced that he will end his three-year hiatus and return to the Octagon — provided his management can agree a deal with the UFC.
“I’m ready,” the former welterweight champ told The MMA Hour on Monday.
And he hinted that his first fight could see him make the step up to middleweight to face Michael Bisping for the title.
“I love my sport and I still feel I’m at my best right now,” the 35-year-old said.
“The clock is running. I’m not getting any younger.
“I’m in the peak of my career and if there is a shot, there is another goal, another run, I better do it and do it quick, because it is time to do it now.”

Not to be cynical and speak ill of a legend but its interesting hes coming back at a weight up in a less competitive division with a relatively weaker champion
I thought the same, I also don’t think it’s right that he gets an immediate title opportunity if that is what happens.
But on the whole I’m just happy he’s back.
he slightly precedes my MMA fandom but he’s big box office, will make middleweight more interesting, will be fun when Nick Diaz calls him out
Rugby, he’s like McGregor that he has to cut drastically to get into welterweight. Seemingly he walks around at well over 90kgs. But if he gets a straight up shot at Bisping, he’ll win in my opinion.
Hes halving his cut then to make 185 which is fair enough, maybe the IV ban is hitting him as well as age
Only danger is he thinks he can walk in there after a good while out and he gets complacent on top of being rusty. That said any of the top 5 middleweights would take Bisping 9/10
