Giroud shows sublime touch to put Arsenal ahead, kisses armband in Hillsborough tribute

The Frenchman fired Arsenal into the lead on 55 minutes.

OLIVIER GIROUD SERVED up two lovely touches in a matter of seconds as he gave Arsenal the lead against West Ham tonight.

The first was with his left foot, deftly trapping a dropping ball before firing the Gunnersโ€™ second goal past Adrian.

The Frenchman then paid his own tribute to the 96 fans who died in the Hillsborough disaster, kissing the black armband worn for todayโ€™s 25th anniversary and pointing to the sky.

For such a great competition its a shame the replay wasnโ€™t televised, plus bringing it to Cork was madness
