DUBLIN’S FOOTBALL DOMINANCE in 2013 will be the centerpiece of RTÉ’s look back at the Gaelic football year tonight.
Dubs star Ger Brennan will be present to reflect along with presenter Des Cahill on a year that saw the county win National League, Leinster and All-Ireland senior titles.
Brennan also experienced glory on the club front in 2013 as St Vincent’s won the Dublin county senior title and then lifted the AIB Leinster football crown earlier this month.
The panel for tonight’s show is completed by Irish Times journalist Malachy Clerkin and Kevin McStay, a pundit on RTÉ’s The Sunday Game.
McStay’s native Mayo won their third successive Connacht senior title this year and the county’s minor side swept to All-Ireland glory. But the coveted All-Ireland senior crown eluded them as they were defeated in September’s decider in Croke Park.
However earlier in the year McStay steered Roscommon club St Brigid’s to win the AIB All-Ireland club SFC title on St Patrick’s Day.
’2013 – A Summer In Blue’ is broadcast tonight at 6.30pm on RTÉ 2.
Meanwhile TG4′s review of the GAA year is on this afternoon at 4.45pm. ‘GAA 2013 na Scéalta’ looks back at the stories, action and highlights from the Gaelic football and hurling year.

Good on them! Especially in the Windies own back yard!
How big of a win is this?
Have other test nations beaten the West Indies in their home venue recently?
Fair play. They seem to be very good at getting up for big games and being competitive. They don’t put up big run scores but seem to bowl very well.
The West Indies are current T20 world champions. Probably not the best in the world now but I’d put them somewhere in the top 3. (In T20)
