Mulligan has returned to Melvin Gaels after four years in the capital playing for St Brigidโ€™s, the 2011 Dublin senior champions.

The inter-county player made the move in December 2012 but it has now been confirmed that he has switched back to his home club, with the transfer officially rubber-stamped yesterday by the GAA.

Mulligan hit 0-6 last Sunday for the Leitrim senior footballers in Carrick-on-Shannon as they lost 0-16 to 0-14 against Wexford in Division 4 of the Allianz football league.

The previous Sunday, he hit 0-3 in Leitrimโ€™s 2017 league opener when they defeated Wicklow 1-17 to 0-10 in Aughrim.

Mulligan has been one of Leitrimโ€™s best players since making his debut in 2008, scoring 0-10 against Galway in that championship season.

Last season Mulligan returned to sction with Leitrim, posting 0-3 in their Connacht defeat to Roscommon, kicking 0-3 in their All-Ireland qualifier win over Waterford and hitting 0-3 when they exited the championship against Sligo.

Heโ€™d get my credit if he was man enough to stand up and admit what he blatantly obviously has done

Say he made some bad choices, and face the punishment.

His legacy is going to be that of a liar and a cheat otherwise

He wonโ€™t get your credit you liar. Youโ€™re just one of those โ€œBandwagonโ€ type. Jumped on cause you knew no better.
Face it. It was never put better than โ€œThe Christians had better odds against the Lions than athletes against the USADAโ€

    What does that tell you?
