DONEGAL ADVANCE TO play Monaghan in the Ulster SFC semi-final, but they’ll have to do without the services Neil McGee for the next two games at least.

Odhran MacNiallais found the net either side of half-time as Donegal recovered from McGee’s dismissal to close out the game in the second-half.

McGee received a straight red card right before half-time but Sean Quigley missed the resultant spot kick and a chance to put Fermanagh ahead at half-time.

Donegal led by 1-6 to 0-7 at the interval and MacNiallais’s second goal left Donegal firmly in control.

Rory Gallagher’s side choked the life out of the game from that point as Fermanagh struggled to manufacture scoring chances from play.

Donegal and Monaghan meet in the last four on 25 June, while Fermanagh are consigned to the qualifers, where they’ll face Wexford in two weeks.

What’s with all these terrible attempts at mocking names? I saw “car gaal” the other day too. Pathetic and not even funny

Comfortable start for Forest. Controlled the game from start to finish. Disappointed that we couldn’t add a few more goals against a team that is the footballing equivalent of Frankenstein.
