POLE-SITTER DANI PEDROSA cruised to victory in Sunday’s Indianapolis MotoGP, finishing nearly 11 seconds ahead of fellow Spaniard Jorge Lorenzo.
Pedrosa, on a Honda, completed the 28-lap course at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 49min 39.631sec, 10.823sec ahead of Yahama’s Lorenzo.
The 26-year-old claimed his 17th career Moto GP win while Lorenzo stayed on top of the world championship standings.
Yamaha’s Italian rider Andrea Dovizioso finished third 17.310sec behind Pedrosa.
Pedrosa, Lorenzo and Dovizioso comprised the first row for the start of the race. The 26-year-old last won here in 2010 and it was his first win from pole position since the 2010 San Marino Grand Prix.
Last year’s winner Casey Stoner of Australia finished fourth at 19.803.
Stoner, the 2011 MotoGP world champion who plans to retire at the end of the season, was riding with special footwear after suffering torn ligaments and a slightly fractured right ankle in Saturday’s qualifying round.
Where is Tom Brady?
Not in the US top 50, Tommy.
Brees, Schaub and the Mannings are the QBs in there.
Didn’t Brady accept a lower salary so the Patriots could free up cash for the rest of the squad, given salary cap restrictions in the NFL.
Longer deal so money is freed up initially and he has guaranteed cash longer term!!
Brady is a legend, I know the word is overused but he really is and his dedication to the pats is amazing, it’s a shame wes wekler has left as he brought out the best in Brady
Brady brought the best out of welker in my opinion.
Well ya they were good for each other Brady is obviously the better player but it will be interesting to see how wes gets on with Payton manning
He took a paycut this year so that the pats could sign a bigger name player within the salary cap
49ers for super bowl lads – who needs brady when ye have kaepernick !!!
The World is one sick Mother f*****g place. Bring on the Ice age I say
Beckham earning more than messi?? Shocking stuff Ted
Any distinction between ‘earnings’ and ‘winnings’?
I remember seeing before nearly all the top 10 earn the major share off sponsorships but mayweather is the only one who gets nothing from sponsorship all winnings.
Is Tenniser a word?
Where’s Paul Mcshane?
