SUNDAY’S MUNSTER SENIOR hurling final is on course to be a sellout clash with only a limited number of terrace tickets still available.
The novel pairing of Cork and Clare – facing off in a decider for the first time in 18 years – coupled with both counties featuring in the minor final, has sparked huge interest.
The Munster Council have today confirmed that tickets for the Kinnane and Ó Riain Stands are now sold out, along with terrace tickets for the Town End.
A limited number of tickets for the Killinan End terrace are still available via tickets.ie along with Centra and Super Valu outlets.

The match is on course to mark the first sellout for a Munster senior hurling final at Semple Stadium, which has a capacity of 46,414 according to the 2015 GAA Annual Report, since the 2006 clash of Cork and Tipperary.
It will be a marked increase on last year’s meeting of Tipperary and Waterford at the Gaelic Grounds, which attracted 26,508 supporters.
Twelve months previously, there had been an attendance of 43,096 at the Thurles venue for the clash between the Premier and the Deise.
Cork are bidding for a first Munster senior hurling title since 2014 while Clare’s last provincial crown was achieved back in 1998 and they haven’t contested this final since 2008.
The minor hurling final has also swelled interest levels with Cork reaching a first decider in the grade since 2008 and Clare ending a five-year gap since their last minor final appearance.
Throw-in for the minor match on Sunday is 2pm with the senior game at 4pm, live on RTÉ 2.

Playoff will be the fifth team in conference A with the South Africans in 3rd (Chetahs as it stands not Munster) so Ospreys most likely in Belfast. But with Benetton playing Zebre at home in last game and currently one point behind Ulster they must pick up at least one win on the run in.
Luckily for them they don’t have any other big profile players who are unavailable…..
