HOT ON THE HEELS of his latest UFC win over Dennis Siver, a new six-part fly-on-the-wall series following Conor McGregor begins next Monday at 10pm on RTÉ 2.
The makers of last year’s documentary ‘The Notorious’ filmed the featherweight title contender over a six-month period, during which he fought Diego Brandao at UFC Dublin and Dustin Poirier in Las Vegas’ MGM Grand.
Oh for God’s sake. I don’t know why this is called ‘the 42′, but I’m guessing it has something to do with Conor McGregor.
Comment of the day
It makes sense now. Fights showing on channel 3E tonight. Turns out “The42″ sponsored Cathal Pendred’s ar$e. Hmmm!
He is earning an absolute fortune. If he wins the belt, it’s reported that he could earn well over a million dollars per annum from endorsements etc. Just remember that when you feel like having a go at him and you are struggling to pay your bills. We have a country full of begrudgers. I hope he is laughing all the way to the bank.
Who said anyone is begrudging?
A six part doc and he hasn’t even fought for a title yet. He certainly knows how to hype!
Warning: May contain scenes of violence.
Why does he get more media coverage than World Champion Andy Lee? Is it because he is a Dub ?
When we’re finished with all the McGregor stuff any chance of an article on Donald Cerrone and his incredible feat of 2 wins against top opposition ( one of which a former champ) only 15 days apart? Or does all other MMA not exist?
Nothing we haven’t already seen on YouTube I reckon!
The guy is a good fighter but its a bit early in his career for a 6 part doc. He hasn’t even won a world title fight yet……stupid sport, 2 lads hugging each other and rolling around on the ground.
It`s not a sport, it`s fake, hare to burst your bubble
