CONOR MCGREGOR IS โprepared to die and prepared to killโ as he gears up for the mouth-watering prospect of facing Jose Aldo at UFC 194.
In a wide-ranging interview for BT Sportโs Beyond the Octagon, The Notorious spoke on a variety of different topics but his pending assignment with the Brazilian dominated the chat.
Speaking to Gareth A.Davies, the Dubliner discussed the calmness he feels as he approaches the cage before a fight.
โWhen you make it to the Octagon, Iโm free. I feel like Iโve been shackled in chains and then I feel free. I am prepared to die in there and Iโm prepared to kill in there. You have to almost be insane to your craft.โ

McGregor also revealed that the level of adulation and support he initially received in Ireland was overwhelming.

The other day we were in Nandos and I turned around and there was a girl there bawling crying, like I was in One Direction or something.โ
And on his December 12th showdown with Aldo, McGregor stoked the flames, suggesting the Brazilian wonโt turn up.
โI donโt think heโll be there. He didnโt show up last time. I can see him over-reaching, over-extending and then lying there unconscious.โ
McGregor was irked when reference was made to his current status as interim featherweight champion and is determined to become the undisputed and unified belt holder.
