CIAN MCCARTHY HAS left the Cork senior hurling panel, it has been confirmed this morning. A statement from Rebel County officials revealed the news, as boss Jimmy-Barry-Murphy paid tribute to the Sarsfields man, who is the son of former dual star Teddy.
McCarthy, 25, started against Clare in the 2013 All-Ireland SHC final replay but has struggled to force his way into the team since then. McCarthy made his debut for the Leesiders in 2009 and JBM said: ”Cian has been a great servant to Cork hurling, but now wants to take a break from the inter-county scene due to work and other commitments.
“We are very sorry lose him but we respect his wishes and the door is open should he chose to return.”
Surely Neymar is lucky to meet Kobe?? Neymar looks brilliant but he hasn’t been as consistently outstanding for so many years as Kobe as in his sport
