Cian Lynch terrorised the Clare defence in last Sunday's Munster senior hurling quarter-final. James Crombie/INPHO

Have you seen Limerick hurling's brightest new star walking on water?

Cian Lynch features in this brilliant promotional video.

LIMERICK HURLING FANS probably think that Cian Lynch can walk on water following his stunning debut exploits in last Sunday’s Munster senior quarter-final victory over Clare.

And the Patrickswell dynamo did just that at a recent promotional event to launch the 2015 Bord Gáis Energy U21 championships.

The competition sponsors brought a host of stars to picturesque Glendalough in county Wicklow to kick off the campaign.

Lynch, Clare’s Shane O’Donnell and Wexford’s up and coming forward Conor McDonald were among those to brave the bitter cold for some of the best snaps we’ve seen in a while.

This behind-the-scenes video contains brilliant footage of the players involved, as well as interviews with their parents.

It’s well worth checking out.

Division 3 for Kildare is a disaster. 7-100 conceded is some amount to be shipped in and that’s against the second tier teams. Leinster football is looking in an awful state. Next year there will be only 3 Leinster teams in the top two division while Ulster will have 8 out of the 9.

Fine character though he is, I think mickey Harte is hanging on for too long. Or perhaps they haven’t the heart to replace him, which would be understandable too.
