MIKE DEAN, WHO refereed last weekend’s controversial Chelsea-Arsenal match, could be set to be considered for a House of Commons debate.
After some dodgy decisions went against Arsenal during that match, Gunners supporters set up a petition to stop Dean from refereeing any more Arsenal games.
Over 97,000 fans and counting have a signed the petition since it was set up, and should it reach 100,000, the House of Commons will be obliged to consider the topic for debate.
However, www.parliament.uk also notes that “there may be occasions when a debate is not appropriate” — something tells us these sentiments may apply to the Mike Dean saga.

Arsenal fans are delusional but this really takes the mickey
In fairness though Luke Mike has made some horrendous decisions against us in the past. Referee’s are sometimes bias even though they shouldn’t be
Fair enough but I don’t think any top referee like Dean would be out to target any team with bad decisions, going all the way to the house of commons to stop a referee doing his job because of bitter arsenal fans is ridiculous
When you play for nothing but money what do you expect because finishing 4th year after year isn’t winning or competing.
Can we try do something similar with Wayne Barnes??
I’m actually impressed by this, soccer/football is a huge huge industry and a massive influence on millions of people’s everyday lives, why not discuss something related to it in your national parliament as long as its democratic, it’d be more relevant than some of the drivel “debated” in parliaments
I’m a Chelsea fan and I’ve signed this to see what happens
More to do with trying to get Dean to not referee another Arsenal game. Their record with Dean in charge is very poor.
And the game of soccer sinks further into the mire!
Oooooh 100,000 LFC fans could get rid of Rodgers then?!!!!!!
How lower can soccer fans stoop! Pathetic.
