LEICESTER CITY STRIKER Jamie Vardy has revealed he plays Call of Duty instead of keeping up with the clubโs Premier League rivals.
Vardy fired up the PlayStation last Wednesday rather than watching title contenders Arsenal and Tottenham in Premier League action in their respective games.
Leicester ended the weekend five points clear at the top of the table after Riyad Mahrezโs 15th Premier League goal of the season sealed a 1-0 win at Watford on Saturday.
I heard a lot of people saying the results on Wednesday night went in our favour, but I was playing Call Of Duty on the PlayStation,โ he said.
โNo-one gave us a chance at the start of the season.
โEveryone said we were relegation fodder and the pressure that we had was only until we knew we were safe. Now weโre just enjoying it.โ
Claudio Ranieri recently told the media he rings an imaginary bell during training if he feels his players have lost concentration, but Vardy said the Italianโs unusual methods do not stop there.
He got us all a little present for Christmas and it was a bell โ just a bell in a box,โ the Premier Leagueโs leading goalscorer revealed.
โWe all opened it and the next thing we knew everyone was walking around the changing room ringing bells.
โIt must be something for Claudio to have a laugh and joke about but it relaxes all the lads.
โJust like the team, he is enjoying himself.โ
Jamie Vardyโs having a LAN party.
In 10 years time people will ask my now 5 year old son โwhat on earth made you start following Leicester?โ
I really, really hope they win it.
Unbelievable stuff, really hope they push on and win it!
Itโs a team sport and Leicester are showing the meaning of team. No expensive signings, everyone pulling in the same direction and no pre-Madonnas. Keep it going fellas and put a big hole in the establishment.
*Prima donnas
No Pre-Madonnaโs either. They are all younger than her. Maybe not Ranieri but definitely the rest.
Come on the Foxes !!!!!
Him an Marhez are pretty decent on Fifa 16
What a strange year for sport we could have. Mc Gregor getting defeated.leicester to win prem and Ireland for the euros
Doing the maths on it, they should win the league with 4 wins an 3 draws. If they did that then Spurs, Arsenal and City would have to go on brilliant runs to beat them. One game at a time.
If they win it expect the Leicester City jersey top to be the biggest seller in Irish sports shops next season. Us Irish love a bandwagon to jump on..
Am I supporting Leicester to win the premiership this year? Youโre damn right I am,And iโve no problem admitting that. If that makes me a bandwagon jumper than so be it.
Gary Iโd say you still have your Blackburn from 95..
considering I was 1 at the time, I was a lot more interested in my mothers bosom than Blackburn Rovers
*then so be it
Thanks for pointing that out lurfic. No ones perfect
*no oneโs perfect
Your right Gary
*Youโre right
YNPA !
It is great andrew. Jus sayin heโs needs to bang in another 6 to 8 goals to make sure they cross the finish line as champs. And prove that he has what it takes to do it down the stretch every game is a cup final now. Big Pressure games. Then lead the line for England at the euros
Jamie needs to keep the head down and push on for the title. He needs to prove he is a top centre forward by score ing the goals from here till may not getin enough goals recently.
Yeah top goal scorer in the league isnโt good enough.
Needs to do better in European competition ;)
