Cabinteely player gives best Lewandowski impression with prolific 27 minutes

Remember the name: Joe Doyle.

CABINTEELY STAR JOE Doyle has had an evening to remember in his side’s match with Athlone.

Doyle scored four goals in an incredible 27-minute period, having claimed a hat-trick after just eight minutes.

It wasn’t quite as impressive as Robert Lewandowski’s five goals in nine minutes for Bayern Munich last year, but it’s certainly not a bad attempt to match it either.

Cabinteely ultimately won 5-1, with Oscar Brennan’s goal adding to Doyle’s strikes.

Dropped so many points from winning positions so far… Could literally be at the top with a better conversion rate but that’s the way, still positive we’re getting into good positions just not hanging on to them enough. We keep trucking on!! Mon Bohs

@James Moran: maybe… Still think he’s the right man, it’s hard when you have to replace 60% of the team year on year but most on longer contracts now so hopefully can build next year instead of another clear out.. that’s the key for me. Bit of stability
