'I have nothing to be scared of, I don't care' - Wenger responds to that fan banner

Wenger feels the heat from Arsenal fans as Gunners book place in FA Cup sixth round.

ARSENE WENGER INSISTED he was not bothered by Arsenal fans holding up a banner asking for the Frenchman to quit during the Gunnersโ€™ 4-0 win over Hull City in the FA Cup.

Supporters were seen with a banner reading, โ€˜Arsene, Thanks for the memories but itโ€™s time to say goodbyeโ€™ during the fifth round replay at the KC Stadium on Monday night.

Fans have grown frustrated with the club after falling eight points off the top of the table and with their Champions League hopes looking forlorn after a 2-0 first-leg defeat to Barcelona.

However, Wenger was defiant after the match, insisting his record speaks for itself and that he will continue to do his job.

โ€œThereโ€™s nothing disappointing for me โ€“ you know, I do my job,โ€ Wenger told reporters.

Look at the history of the club, since the club exists, and you will see that I have nothing to be scared of. I donโ€™t care. I do not want to speak about that because it is always the same story.

โ€œI told you already sometimes the press conferences are very boring and it is enough now. If you have any questions, you ask anybody else but you donโ€™t come back to me with that.

โ€œDo you know someone who has won it [the FA Cup] more than me?โ€

Wenger also insisted it was unfair to write Arsenalโ€™s season off just yet and insisted his side would continue to fight on three fronts.

We judge the season afterwards and Iโ€™m quite amazed so many people judge it so early,โ€ he added.

โ€œWe have not given up anywhere and you will see that in the coming weeks. This club has been in a much worse position than it is today.โ€

Ranieri has shown what can be achieved with a small budget and a direct attitude.

Lizards prefer warm climates. Just in the spirit of making irrelevant statements.

I had a lot more to say but it didnโ€™t print. None of it was that incisive that Iโ€™d write it again. Haha.

Itโ€™s relevant in that Wenger has been giving the excuse of financial doping for not winning the league more often
